When I have given my Great Dane the recommended daily amount of food, he/she is still hungry. Why is this?

A Great Dane has a lower fat percentage and a relatively larger skin surface area than other dogs. Because of this, Great Danes need approximately 80% more energy than other dogs of the same weight. To calculate the recommended daily amount of food for Great Danes, find the weight of your dog in the food table and multiply the feeding advice with 1.8.
